Using e-mail can be a great tool for sending weekly newsletters to members of the church and can help office staff stay in touch better and quicker.

E-mail can be a very important tool for churches. A minister of a Baptist church in Georgia inquired among his congregation who would be interested in receiving weekly devotional e-mails and the response was overwhelming. The members of this church began forwarding the devotional e-mails to family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, who were not members of the church, which had significant results. To start with, the membership of this church grew; in addition, these e-mails launched the growth
of an outreach program for the church. These simple e-mails opened up opportunities for witnessing, counseling, and inviting people to take part in the church's worship service.

The power of internal communication e-mail is also very significant. In large churches that have scattered offices located in several building, e-mail communication is a must, to effectively and efficiently relying messages, schedule meetings and keep part-time employees and volunteers up to date on current affairs, thus improving internal communications throughout the church. Many times the monthly fee for connecting churches or other non-profit organizations to the Internet as a whole may be much less than an individual account.
